Kiersten Schmidt is a newspaper designer currently working on the sports team at Gannett's Asbury Park Design Studio. She is the primary sports designer for the Asbury Park Press, the third-largest newspaper in New Jersey.
A graduate of the University of Miami, Kiersten was heavily involved in the production of Ibis, UM's award-winning yearbook, and worked as a designer for the student newspaper, The Miami Hurricane. Kiersten knows It's All About The U.
In her spare time, Kiersten enjoys going to Yankee games, talking about the Yankees and reading about the Yankees. A born-and-raised New Yorker, she also enjoys exploring the city and escaping to the Jersey Shore in the summer.
